THE DESIGN

With the brilliant paintbox of Madelinetosh, you’ll be sure to find a combination that works beautifully in your wardrobe. Which color will you show off today?

THE DETAILS
FINISHED SIZE
Approx. 22”/56cm around unstretched x 17”/43cm long unfolded.

YARN
Approx. 90 yds/82m each in two colors of a super bulky-weight yarn. Shown in 2 skeins of Madelinetosh A.S.A.P. (90 yds/82m each): 1 skein each of Colors A = Antique Moonstone and B = Rye Bourbon.

We used Malabrigo Rasta to make this cowl and it turned out beautifully albeit with slightly different measurements.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 15 (10mm) 24”/60cm circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
2 large locking markers.
Darning needle to finish.

GAUGE
Approx. 16 sts = 4”/10cm in pattern, unstretched, before blocking.
Approx. 12 sts = 4”/10cm in pattern, unstretched, after blocking.

Note: Superwash yarn has a tendency to grow when wet; when blocking, gently shape cowl to desired dimensions and allow it to dry thoroughly before removing it from blocking board. As always, swatch first to see how your yarn behaves.
